Day Centre Manager
(Salary circa £27,000)
An experienced and innovative Manager is sought for our progressive Day Centre, based in Ponders End, Enfield. The service operates over a seven day week offering two specialised services within one care environment.
The successful candidate will have:
" At least two years experience of working with people with learning disabilities at a senior level
" Extensive experience of managing staff within the learning disabilities field
" A relevant qualification in health and social care
" Proven leadership ability
" A clear understanding of DOH guidelines on working with people who have leaning disability e.g. Valuing People Now
" A working knowledge of Person Centred Planning
" Some experience of premises management and health and safety would be an advantage
The role involves management responsibility for weekday and weekend services, management of a large and diverse staff team and budgets and assessment of new service users and creating individual person centred plans as part of a commitment to supporting individuals to achieve their personal and developmental goals.

We are seeking enthusiastic staff, committed to equality of opportunity, who will enjoy supporting people to become active and valued members of their community.
For the full time position you will need relevant experience in the Care Sector and excellent interpersonal/communication skills and good IT and report writing skills.
NVQ level 2/3 in Care plus the LDAF Induction/Foundation or equivalent qualification would be an advantage
Clean driving licence and willingness to drive Company vehicles is desirable.
